Default Do Ghosts Exist?

I've believed in ghosts since I was in 6th grade my grandma also believes in ghosts, but she calls them spirits.

she told me once her mother always said if you see a ghost you have to ask "Can I help you in the name of The Lord or The Devil." she said she always looked at her mom and said who'd ask a ghost anything like that.

Do Ghosts Exist?

I'm not sure. I watch Ghost Hunters and Jason and Grant are pretty convincing. I really don't know.

It depends on what you mean by "ghost". If you mean the colloquial sense, wherein someone who dies becomes a wandering spirit who roams the Earth and haunts old abandoned houses and whatnot, I would say absolutely not.
However, I certainly do believe in The Holy Ghost, the Third Person in The Holy Trinity- God The Father, God The Son Jesus Christ and God The Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost).
There are only two sources of spiritual power in the world- there is good and evil. On the side of good is God and His angels and on the side of evil is Satan (or Lucifer) [i.e. the devil] and his demons.
I believe in both and the existence of both Heaven and Hell. I think this is what the original poster's grandmother was trying to get at- spirits are either from the Kingdom of God or the kingdom of Satan.
Of course, as 1 John 3:8 tells us, the reason the Son of God came was to destroy the works of the devil. And as Acts 26:18 tells us, Jesus came to open our eyes and turn us from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to the power of God.
And He did that through His death on the cross and Resurrection. And when we put our faith in Christ, we have salvation in Him and we can know that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

If they do exist, I dunno wh they have to be so darn ILLUSIVE and in the shadows. According to ppl who have been hanuted and things, they apparantly are able to interact in the physical word pretty strongly.

Someday If I'm ever a ghost, I'm going to be forthcoming and REVEIL myself, I'm gonna appear to a group of ppl and be like, "Here I AM!!! I'm a GHOST!!!!" I'm not gonna just be doing tapping, rattling stuff ,stuff or communicating through Ouija boards or any of that.

You may find that you don't have the freedom to do that, actually. I have no idea how it all works, but what if ghosts are governed by physical rules and laws just like the living are?

I'm just going by what a lot of ppl say who claim to have been haunted. Some ppl who have been haunted claim that ghosts make thies lives a living hell. They claim they hear voices and things like that and stuff flies across the room... It just seems like if they can interact that strongly in the physcal world, they could materialize to someone and say, "Hi, "im a ghost."

If ghosts do exist it seems like they are only interested in scaring the heck out of ppl.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in spirits. I think the two often get confused.

See that's what I mean, if Iwere a ghost, instead of doing FAINT whispering, I would be YELLING, "HELLO!! I'M HERE!!!!", and I'd doing more than just light tapping on doors and walls.

Maybe ghosts are not able to yell or do hard knocking on doors and walls?
