UM Strange Legends DVD - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Greetings my fellow UM Fanatics!

So I purchased the Bizarre Murders DVD set as well as the “Ghost Stories” collection. I was thinking of purchasing the Strange Legends DVD which I found on Amazon and from the banner above this website. But why is it in the 600.00 range?! The Ghost set only cost me about 20.00 or so…

I don't see why brand new ones are so expensive. Perhaps the rarity but $600 is quite much to ask for. I got my sets at eBay I think when they had them there. I wish I would've bought them when Walmart was selling them, could've saved me a lot of cash.

My mom purchased the UM treasure chest (all of the DVD sets) for about $150. But that was about 8 years ago. I'm guessing Strange Legends is $600 because they're not producing any new ones anymore and they're a rarity. That's my only guess.

Seeing that their box sets are going for up to 6 figures, I can't understand why they don't want to make new episodes. They're obviously the most profitable shows ever.

I've seen the treasure chest list for around $150 on eBay recently. When it comes to DVD's I try to avoid amazon like the plague. Usually you can get whatever you want and in decent shape on eBay.

I also wanted the "Miracles" DVD (I'm an atheist but I still find these stories interesting) but looks like i cant afford it either..

Cheapest One is:
$119.29

Another one for
$117,645.69

Oh and a used one for
$29,524.01

Amazon is the worst place to buy outdated DVD's. I get mine either from browsing thrift stores, flea markets, or eBay. EBay is like my last resort.

I found “The Best of Unsolved Mysteries” for about 16.00 (total price with shipping). I looked up the episodes and I might order it! Has a few episodes I love!

I'm gonna look at Ebay as well...

That's actually pretty good. I have an independent use DVD store in my town, a lot of times I see some of the UM sets sell for at $9 in decent condition. I might have to pick a few of these up.

Also try Craigslist. I found my UM Collection Box set for $50 on Craigslist a few years ago. It's definitely more hit or miss but a lot of people are listing DVDs for sale there.

Another one for $117,645.69 - Dang, is someone trying to pay off their mortgage or something? I should list my boxset for that and see if anyone buys it. I'd gladly let it go for that kind of money!
