Ok, I'm trying to find two specific stories (mainly because I want to see if there are any updates or read about fan theories).
The first is about a man who dies of mysterious circumstances. But that's not as weird as what happens next: this murder victim apparently contacts someone from beyond the grave and has that person investigate and look into his death. The victim also apparently says that there was an anonymous witness to his death (the real reason I think the investigator knows, he was the witness). Anyway, unfortunately the investigator died (natural causes) and last time I heard the case was unsolved. The second is one I don't have a lot of information on. Apparently a guy is found dead, naked on his bed. The police rule it as a suicide, but several clues suggest that it was not. One such clue was that where the bullet exited his body and hit the wall or bed frame behind him was lower than expected, suggesting that someone was holding him down. And with that person's weight on top of the victim, the victim was "lower" and that's why the bullet holes on the wall were lower than if this was just a suicide. Any ideas? |

Thanks the second one was definitely Tony Lombardi... the first one was definitely someone else..
Trying to remember more details about the case... I think this guy met with someone because he was going to sell his truck to him or something like that... I'm not exactly sure what happened, but the gist is the guy never returned home. His wife goes to the guy's place and the guy was just saying, "he's not at home?" while she was insistent that he knew where her husband was. Her husband's body was found dumped at a nearby river. The UM segment portrayed the scene (that was supposedly told by the victim from beyond the grave to the investigator I had mentioned previously) that they got into a disagreement about money. They got into a fight, and the other guy eventually won and hit him in the back of the neck with something hard enough to break his neck. He then dumped him over a bridge and that's how he ended up in the river. That's about the only other information I can think of. |

I believe the first one was about David Chase and Phil Harris.

Yes, that's it, David Chase! Unfortunately that Wiki page doesn't really do justice to this very interesting case, as it makes it sound like a normal unexplained death.
Here's the info from Unsolved.com that gives a lot more info: http://www.unsolved.com/unexplained.html It's unfortunate that both of these cases are still unsolved after all of these years
