Henry Polic II was one of the best celebrity Pyramid players of all time. He gave very good clues that helped contestants win lots of money. In the late TV Game Shows Magazine, an article on the $25,000 Pyramid mentioned a clue he gave for the word eggs "There are 12 of them in a dozen."

His Pyramid success encouraged Bob Stewart to hire him to host Double Talk, a remake of the Geoff Edwards hosted Shoot for the Stars. But the show was short-lived opposite the powerhouse Price is Right and later switched to an all-celebrity format.

In addition to his role on Webster, he will always be remembered by Pyramid fans. May he rest in peace.

I feel quite guilty as this is the first time in a long while that I've viewed these boards. I had no clue that Henry has passed away over the summer. I thought he did a really awesome job on "Double Talk", and indeed was a consummate Pyramid player. Rest in peace Mr. Polic.

I was surprised when he passed. I remember him on Double Talk too. I just saw him on some Pyramid reruns on GSN. That prompted me to see what he was up to. Lo and behold, info stated that he recently passed. Will miss him.
