Here is episode 1 from 1949 with Jackie Gleason.

I am adding more of the Jackie Gleason tomarrow. But it's a long day. You will find that there are two Season 1s but this is really the real season 1.

The show was pretty good though, I kind of prefer the second version he was a better fit imo.

Agreed, and to be expected I suppose considering Wm Bendix originated the role on radio.
