Here is a link to this episode:
http://unsolvedmysteries.wikia.com/w...ute_29_Stalker I remember this segment cause it scared me to death and I never ever pull over if someone is flagging me down. The route 29 stalker is believed to have murdered Alicia Shoulwalter Reynolds. There are a list of women that were found dead or missing near the same area. On 08/03/2013 17 year old Alexis Murphy disappeared. Yesterday, Randy Allen Taylor was arrested for her abduction. Alexis has yet to be found. The FBI believes that Randy Taylor may have been responsible for the murder of Samantha clark. The composite sketch resembelence is there IMO. I've looked up pictures of Randy Taylor in the past. He has an extensive criminal record. The FBI are looking for tips and info about this man. A lot of us believe that Randy Taylor is the Route 29 stalker. He lived near I-29 and was actually as person of interest in Samantha Clark's case, but he claimed police harrassment. Some feel that the Stalker could have been Darrell Rice, but some disagree. Randy Allen Taylor looks more like the composite picture than Darrell Rice. Because they seem to have very similar facial features. If Randy's hair was a little longer and came down his forehead more, he'd be about as good of a match that is possible for a composite picture.
Either one sounds like low-lives though... I forgot all about this case actually. So the Wiki page doesn't mention Randy, so what makes people think he might be the Route 29 stalker? Because it's the same MO? |

Here's Taylor's booking photo. I find it interesting that, even tho his hair is shorter than the guy in the sketch, he seems to comb his hair forward in a similar way. I always thought the sketch guy did it to cover baldness, but maybe it was just a style preference.
Taylor looks more like the sketch suspect than the other guy does, imo. His eyes slant downward in the same way, he has thin wide lips, prominent cupid's bow, pointy nose, prominent nasal labial folds, very noticeable ears. Just about the only difference is the fuller face/face shape of the sketch guy, but that could be explained by age, drug use, witness or sketch artist getting that one detail a bit off... ![]() ![]()

Ive been following Alexis case on other forums. There has been speculation as to why the FBI was involved from the beginning. I believe as has been theorized that this guy has been a suspect in these cases all along, they just didnt have the evidence to get him. I hope they do now.

The thing that always stands out about the drawing of the suspect is the way the front hair is pushed down over the forehead.
![]() Looking at all the pictures of Taylor, he appears to push down the front hair, although its much shorter than the drawing. Of course that's nothing to convict someone on, but that doesn't seem to be a common hairstyle. I don't know too many guys his age with a hairstyle like that.

Well phooey. I thought he looked enough like the composite that there was a good possibility that he was responsible. Plus the way he and the composite guy push their hair forward is kind of an unusual style choice. I was really hoping this would be solved.
That being said, I hope they're 100% sure about his incarceration dates. I've come across a couple cases where the perp was ruled out because he was in jail at the time of the offense, but was eventually found to be guilty because the officials goofed up their paperwork. |
