Question about I love lucy episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello,

It has been driving me nuts because I seem to remember an episode of I love lucy where Ricky refuses to let Lucy go with him on a job or something and so Lucy alludes to him that she would find another guy to be with her while he's gone. Ricky pretty much laughs it off until one day he comes home and while he is in the bedroom, Lucy slams the closet door, loudly runs to the front door and then slams that to make Ricky think she was hiding a guy in the closet. which he of course does. However he then talks to Fred who busts Lucy, Ricky decides to get back at Lucy by calling some actor friends over to actually hide in the closet to scare Lucy.
I never see this episode in syndication and I don't own the dvd set so I'm really beginning to wonder whether I am actually thinking of another show or I am just imagining this completely.

Can anyone help me out and tell me the name of this episode I am talking about...well if it exists anyways?

You are not nuts. I remember it was DEFINITELY an episode of I Love Lucy, however I don't know the name of the episode.

It sounds like every episode of I love Lucy.

The episode you are referring to is called, "The Saxophone" in season 2.

And hahaha,Visaman, yeah it is the basic formula of I love lucy but this was the only episode where I remember Ricky hiding a bunch of men in the closet to scare his wife.
