Movie Reviews: We're The Millers

We're The Millers is another new film getting just-passing grades from most critics.

Richard Roeper in the Chicago Sun-Times goes:

"The movie clicks on just enough cylinders to warrant a recommendation."

Steven Rea in the Philadelphia Inquirer describes it as "innocuously smutty".

To Michael Phillips in the Chicago Sun-times:

"it's a loose, halfheartedly raunchy, occasionally hilarious new comedy."

And to Andy Webster in the New York Times:

"it's savvy with effects and keeps his young cast on point -- but it doesn't begin to approach the biting adolescent tension of the Harry Potter movies. Are there hints of another sequel? You bet your gorgon."

Betsy Sharkey in the Los Angeles Times devotes the first third of her article describing some of the movie's shortcomings, then pulls herself up, writing:

"That doesn't mean Millers is not occasionally funny -- it is. Or that the performances are awful -- they aren't."

The movie doesn't seem all that funny from the trailers. And I agree, drug running isn't such a great source for comedy!

my favorite part when the girl has drugs in her lap then the next people said a baby then she throws it into the street I hand't seen it it I probably rent it on Netflix
