Default Interview with Nell on Youtube

I came across a 5 minute interview with Nell about her drug use. It was so sad and you could see the pain she was feeling about it when talking about it. In the end I'm glad she got clean and the person interviewing her mentioned just before the end that after getting clean people were concerned that she would fall off the wagon after "Her best friend Dolph Sweet died." Thse were the words used. I knew they cared for each other deeply but didn't know they were best friends. I thought that was an interesting tidbit.

I didn't know they were that close. I do know Nell treated Lara Jill Miller like she was her own daughter and they were the closest out of everyone on set, I believe.

Lara has stated so many wonderful things about her friendship with Nell. Nell bought her a puppy when she met her during season 1, the two would hang out at Denny's and such, Nell wanted Lara back on the show after they fired the 3 girls....she had Lara back for several episodes and was gonna have her back in season 7 had the show gotten renewed...

I didn't know that all three girls were eventually fired.

I think once the Chief died and they all got older, married or went on their own there was no need for them. The storylines were probably tougher to come up with too. That's why I feel that after Dolph died it lost so much to the show. The interaction he and Nell shared was so much fun to watch.

Is this the interview that you're talking about?

She never said that people were concerned about her falling off the wagon after Dolph's passing. All she said was that keeping busy was her therapy.

I can't imagine the show with no girls AND no chief. I guess the show eventually just revolved around Nell and Joey? I'm still on season three, so I haven't seen that far ahead yet.
