McPartlin will play the very handsome Carter Covington, a chivalrous and extremely charming Southern gentleman who is one the most eligible bachelors in the South — and every Southern Belle's dream husband. So who will fall for him first? The role will reunite McPartlin, who is best known for playing Captain Awesome on NBC's "Chuck", with "Hart of Dixie" star Rachel Bilson, who guest-starred on "Chuck".
