Penikett will first appear in the season premiere (Oct. 8 at 9/8c on The CW), which will pick up after Metatron expelled the angels from Heaven. He will play an angel named Ezekiel, whom showrunner Jeremy Carver described as "a dignified warrior angel injured in the Fall." Carver told fans last month at Comic-Con that the Winchesters will be "knee-deep in angel problems" this season.
