"Ducktales"
This show was like an Indiana Jones type, IMO. For example, a character throws dust into the other character's eyes and almost gets blinded. |

DuckTales was around in the comics long before Indiana Jones was around, for the record. But yes- especially in "DuckTales: The Movie- Treasure of the Lost Lamp", there was definitely some Indiana Jones inspiration- just look at the movie poster.
![]() (Note Uncle Scrooge's hat, whip and jacket.) Of course, Indiana Jones also drew inspiration from numerous sources too. (Humphrey Bogart in "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre", "Gunga Din", 1930s serials, etc.- to name a few) But I love them all. Yes, DuckTales may have some comic violence, but it's definitely one of the best Disney action cartoons and cartoons in general. I love it! I wish Disney would release the rest of it to DVD! I also love Indiana Jones as well, by the way.
