Default Fremantle's relationship with Goodson-Todman: Helping or Hurting?

TPIR is now comedy-driven.
Feud has to insert D**k jokes for every survey answer and survey question in order to get a laugh.
Million Dollar Password only aired two seasons making it the shortest version of Password in the history of the franchise.
no current Match Game pilot has made it to air.
What's My Line? (2000 Pilot) has N-E-V-E-R been broadcast in favor of Survivor.

So what do you think about Fremantle's relationship with it's library of classic Goodson-Todman formats, are they sharing the love or shafting them for good?

Goodson-Todman are turning over in their graves, especially given the sad state of their flagship show "The Price is Right."

You know I stopped watching TPIR after Barker left. I have no issue with Drew Carey at all. I like Drew, its just I dont watch for some reason. Also, is it me or does TPIR have too many gimmicked shows? The old TPIR never had that.

Also, I watch Family Feud. I think its pretty funny. I dont think thats jumped the shark yet.
I dont understand what Survivor has to do with Whats My Line not airing? If Fremantle is purposely not showing these pilots or preventing Line or Match Game to air or be produced then somebody should buy them out and show and preserve the shows the way they ought to be.

TPIR has definitely become gimmicky. There's more specials these days than there are regular shows. Not to mention the onslaught of celebrity guest stars in every other episode. The last season or two has toned down on both of those gimmicks somewhat though.

As far as Drew Carey's hosting skills, he's gotten somewhat better (he's not as stiff, he doesn't talk as fast and he's better at expressing excitement or empathy when a contestant wins/loses), but he still fails to explain the game rules correctly (I.E. offering the bailout option for games like Switcheroo to contestants) and he repeats the same phrases every day with every day.

"Next prize please!" when presenting the items contestants would bid on to come on stage

(Note: under Mark Goodson's production during the Bob Barker era, it was a huge point to say "What is the next item up for bid?")

"What do we have for them George!?" when presenting the prize a contestant on stage can win playing a pricing game

"Where are you from!? when a constestant first comes on stage

"Rachel Reynolds Everybody! How 'bout that!?" when Rachel hands him the microphone during the intro

"Give it up for George Gray!" after being handed the microphone during the intro

"Do you want to say hi to someone!?" to the contestants at the big wheel
