Dave Foley on this show - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm really enjoying Dave Foley on this show, which is remarkable, because he was never one of my favorite actors. I'm a huge NewsRadio fan, but perhaps I just didn't notice his talents there. i guess that's easy being that he was playing the straight man to a bunch of goofballs, and/or because it's easy to get lost in the shuffle when you're next to Phil Hartman, Stephen Root, Andy Dick and Vicki Lewis. But being that there's fewer cast members on Hot In Cleveland and/or because he gets to be a zanier character, I'm noticing his talents more. I'd like to continue to see him on the show. I like all of his "stop falling in love with me" interactions with Joy.

He's also been doing a great job in a recurring role as Brick's school counselor in The Middle.

It never hurts to have a Canadian in the cast of a sitcom!! And if you're going to have a Canadian in your cast Mr. Foley is a good choice!
