I am looking for information from the episode about a boy in Kentucky that found an unidentified woman's family. Her body was found, and the county buried her there. It bothered this boy very badly and he did extensive research and found this woman's family. I live in KY and a woman's body was found in my county in 1985 in a refigerator. No one to my knowledge has ever claimed her as missing. She was buried here, but I would like to contact this boy to maybe find out how he found family members. This lady belongs to somebody, and I would love to find out who, and maybe help a family get closure with someone that meant so much in their lives.

If i'm not mistaken I think I saw the case in late 90 or early 91.
I think it was a kidnapping case. The woman had been kidnapped, for no ransom, sexually assaulted and murdered. I may be wrong though.

I don't recall seeing these episodes, and I'm sure I would remember them, since I'm also in KY. But, I have not seen all of them.
I don't know if it was on UM or not, but there is a fairly famous case in KY, wherein a young woman's body was found in a canvas tent bag in 1968 (she became known as the "Tent Girl"), which was not solved until 1999 or so, through DNA. Sir Rhosis |

I think the case you're thinking of is "Tent Girl". She's buried in Georgetown Cemetery. There are lots of sites with information about her. This might be a good one. It's run by a sister of the dead woman so the information is coming straight from the source. Hope it helps. Good luck!
