Kel Mitchell is returning to his roots on Nickelodeon!

HuffPost TV can exclusively reveal that the actor, who spent the majority of the '90s doing sketch comedy on "Kenan and Kel" and "All That", will be back on Nickelodeon this fall on the network's new hit series "Sam & Cat".



On a fall episode of "Sam & Cat" -- which stars Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, respectively, as the titular characters -- Mitchell will play Big Peezy, a huge rap star who hires Sam to be his assistant.

But the gig causes problems for Cat, who finds babysitting much more challenging without Sam around to help.



Mitchell has been doing a lot of voice work as of late, lending his voice to characters on Nicktoons' "Wild Grinders" and Disney XD's "Motorcity".

Mitchell also recently popped up on an episode of "Good Luck Charlie" on Disney Channel.
