Why did Katie dye her hair blonde when she was already blonde?

Katie was a natural blonde. In the later seasons she dyed it blondER. I hate when blondes do that. If you're already blonde, why dye it? Katie had pretty hair when it was her natural color, but that dye looked terrible. Most people don't have really, really light blonde hair. Children do, but adults do not. Well, perhaps a very tiny percentage of adults do in Scandinavia. Most natural adult blondes have dark blonde, somewhat light brown hair. Katie had no reason to use hair dye.

My sister dyes her hair blonder, I see no problem with that.

Kari Michaelsen did dye her hair darker by the show's ending, she even kept that darker hair in the "Full House" episode "Joey, Stacey, and oh yeah...Jesse".

Kari Michaelsen is Stacey in that episode of "Full House".

She dyed it brown because as a blonde, guys took advantage of her, especially at work. But when she dates, she wears a blonde wig.

She mentions it as soon as she walks in the door and everyone is shocked she dyed her hair. It's in Sam Goes To College Part 1.

I was just responding to the poster who said Katie dyed it brunette in her last 2 episodes. She dyed it brunette in the fall of 1986 and that's the reason Katie gives to Nell, that she'd be too taken advantage of as a blonde in any business, but when she goes on dates, of course, she always wears a blonde wig.

She looks good, but I like her hair better when it was natural dark blonde.
