Movie Reviews: R.I.P.D.

Only a handful of reviews are appearing for R.I.P.D., and virtually all of them are dreadful.

The opening sentences of Kyle Smith's review in the New York Post epitomizes them all:

"Every movie coming out this year but R.I.P.D. should pause for a big sigh of relief: The possibility of any of them being called the worst cinematic effort of 2013 has, as of today, just about disappeared.

As for R.I.P.D., I've got some bad news for you: For a movie that so strenuously rips off Ghostbusters and Men in Black, R.I.P.D. manages to come up with fresh new ways of being absolutely terrible."
