Default Roseanne's many jobs

Today on an episode Roseanne was telling Jackie that the only job she had ever been fired from was that fast food chicken place where her boss was a teenager(Forgot his name) but when she applied for a job at the meat place she told the lady there she had never fired from a job.Iam wondering if the meat place job came before she started to work at the chicken place or was there a mistake?any ideas or thoughts?thanks

Roseanne's jobs (during the series run) in order:

1. Wellman Plastics - Roseanne works there for the entirety of season one, leaving the job in the finale.

2. At-home telemarketer - Roseanne works from home selling magazines on the phone. This job only lasts for the first couple episodes of season two.

3. Roseanne gets the job at the meat packing plant, only to have it revoked when she admits to not being experienced enough to do computer work.

4. Roseanne temporarily works as an assistant at Dan's job site.

5. Roseanne gets a job at the Lobo, but it doesn't last beyond one episode in season two.

6. A couple episodes later, Roseanne is seen working at the chicken restaurant - the episode where she's 'fired' by Brian, the geeky manager.

7. In the middle of season two, Roseanne gets a job working at the beauty salon. She remains there until the early part of season three - though, the last episode where the salon is actually shown is in the season two finale.

8. Roseanne gets a job at the luncheonette in Rodbell's at the beginning of season three.

10. Roseanne helps Dan around the bike shop during season four. She's also laid off from the luncheonette when Rodbell's decides to close down the restaurant.

11. Roseanne, Nancy and Jackie start a loose-meat restaurant and name it the Lunch Box in season five.

I might've missed a job or two that only lasted an episode - but that's the basics of it. So, Roseanne was fired from her chicken job after interviewing for the meat packing one.

Hope that helps!

I liked when she worked at Wellman's and Rodbells restaurant the best!

First season was so good, and George Clooney as Booker (some eye candy in the show) !!

I liked the season that she worked at Rodbell's, lots of funny eps. and I always liked mall diners, brings back memories when I was younger.

I kind of wish the writers had kept her character working at Wellman until the end of the second season. Didn't she work at Wellman for quite sometime?

I wish she would have worked at the beauty salon for a longer period of time. I loved those characters who worked there.

I know, right? I never understood why Roseanne stopped working at that beauty parlor. She seemed to be happiest there.

The writers probably felt the characters ran their course. It happens a lot. Especially when the writers feel they can't come up with new material for each new character.

It happened a lot on Roseanne. The early characters Roseanne worked with, like Vonda Green and Juanita Herrara, who were with her at Wellman, were gone by the middle of the second season (they last appeared in the episode where Roseanne applies for the meatpacking plant position - only to not get it). Bonnie, who worked with Roseanne at Rodbell's, was also done away with after Roseanne left, even though they were still pretty close friends (no explanation, either).
