Crazy Laura from Family Matters VS Rudy from The Cosby Show

Between two long running shows back in the hit 90's which TV Female character did you think was more interesting Laura Winslow or Rudy Huxtable from the cosby show, for me i say Rudy she did not seem pushy like laura in my theory.

I always thought Laura was supposed to be like Vanessa and Judy was supposed to be like Rudy.

Yeah all 4 of those girls had similar personalities Furienna , here are my thoughs i think laura had that aggressive independent teenage rebel attitude that reminded me of denise huxtable from the cosby show, judy was not as outgoing and popular as rudy, judy seemed to not have any friends on family matters, rudy seemed to have alot of friends, but i agree that judy and rudy were both sassy girls, i found it entertaining seeing judy trash talk little richie and i found it even more entertaining seeing rudy trash talk bud aka kenny lol

Judy appearantly had friends, but we never got to see them, as the writers never cared to develope her character. I say Laura was way more like Vanessa than Denise. And let me add that Eddy probably was supposed to be like Theo as well.

Yeah but its funny it seemed like eddy grew up to have a much better career then poor will, by the last season of family matters eddy was a cop, and by the last season of the fresh prince will had a job where he had to dress up like big bird for a living lol

Will was still young though and had a lot of time to get a good career.

I could see will becoming a cop in the future he had the height at 6'2, i always thought waldo and jazz from the fresh prince had similar personality they were not that smart will always told jazz what to do and eddy always told waldo what to do lol.

I have to say that Jazz was smarter than Waldo though.

I never thought of Jazz as a smart guy and it seemed like will never had any respect for jazz like he did for his cousin carlton or even the kid ice tray, can you explain why you think waldo is not as smart as jazz ???

I say Jazz was of average intelligence. He maybe was a bit stupider than Will, but he surely was smarter than Waldo.

Judy was definitely supposed to be a Rudy. No we never saw her friends, but she and Laura did go to a slumber party in episode four, and in season four she tells Richie when he says he'll answer the door, "Its not for you, I have friends, not you", or something.

I would usually say that "Family Matters" was better, or at least funnier, than "The Cosby show". But still, Rudy was treated better than Judy. Even after Olivia had taken over the "cute little kid" spot, Rudy was around and even was the focus of many episodes.
