Leslie Easterbrook is awesome! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I got the chance to meet Leslie Easterbrook at a convention last weekend after wanting to meet her for years. She did not let me down. She was super outgoing and genuinely friendly. She is very appreciative of her fans, and is pretty much up for chatting about anything. At one point she was chatting with a fan for so long, she didn't realize that there was a line of people waiting to meet her! She thought they were all waiting to meet Linda Blair, who was right beside her.

Regarding Laverne & Shirley, she stated that things had already changed on set by the time she joined the cast. She didn't elaborate on that, but I can only assume that it was in reference to the relationship between Penny and Cindy. She said that she never had the opportunity to get particularly close to either of them. Though, she did say that she did a L&S convention about a year ago, and that she thought Penny was very nice.

I hope I get the chance to meet her again someday!

Thanks for sharing this! I always thought that the Rhonda character had more potential and I wished that she'd been on the show earlier during the popular years.

It's nice you got to meet her. She always seemed so lively & energetic on Laverne & Shirley, like someone who would be fun to hang around with.
