TV Anthony Anderson To Host NBC's "Wall of Fame"

NBC Orders Game Show "Wall of Fame"
Jul 11, 2013
by Natalie Abrams

NBC has ordered new game show called "Wall of Fame", the network announced Thursday.

The one-hour comedic game show sees one family compete for a cash prize by answering pop culture trivia and also guessing whether the members of the celebrity Wall of Fame also gave the correct answers to the same questions.

"This series offers something for everyone in a unique game show format that rewards families who know their pop culture trivia," Paul Telegdy, NBC's president of alternative and late night programming, said in a statement.

"Our celebrities will add an extra element of surprise as they too will have their knowledge tested -- providing a high potential for many unpredictable and raucous answers."

The network ordered eight episodes of the game show, which hails from Endemol USA, the company behind "Big Brother" and "Wipeout", among others.

"Wall of Fame" is the second new game show NBC has added to its slate. "Million Second Quiz" is set to debut on Monday, Sept. 9 at 8/7c on NBC.

this show sound like it's a little "Hollywood Square-ish" to me (minus the "Squares" part).

From what I read, it looks like a cross between Hollywood Squares and a game show pilot hosted by Allen Ludden titled Talking Pictures. I did see some of the pilot on youtube.com and it did show some resemblance to Eye Guess.

As for Wall of Fame, I hope it's another successful prime time game show.

well that had succeess with Deal or no Deal (for which IMO they should've brought back in 2012 instead of Take It All) and 1 vs. 100 so I don't see why not.
