First Look Photo: Tom Hanks As Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks

Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson star in Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks which goes out in limited release on December 13. It’s based on the true story of how Mary Poppins made it to the screen — and the testy relationship that Walt Disney had with author P.L. Travers that almost derailed it.

Per Time, here’s the first picture of Hanks as Disney and Thompson as Travers on a walk through Disneyland in 1961.

As someone who grew up as a fan of "Mary Poppins" I'm intrigued by this story benind the movie!
