At this point, I have probably started over a hundred threads about the fact that, whenever I hear the world disgusting, my mind goes right back to Julie's words of wisdom regarding Katie's behavior at the protest in the third-season episode "Samantha's Protest". However, cases in which people have posted replies have been very few and far-between. Because of this, I have given the topic a rest for quite a while. Also, because of how slow this site in general and this page in particular tend to be, I have probably only posted one comment during the past two-week period. During my absence from this site, I have spent a lot of time watching videos on You Tube. As a lot of you probably know, even though most of the videos on You Tube are uploaded by private people, a lot of advertising companies still manage to get their hands in the pot! I guess you could make a case that this type of over-capitalism is one of the things that Samantha was protesting in this particular episode. In any event, less than an hour ago, I was watching a bunch of uploaded "Popeye" cartoons. In one of these uploads, there was an ad promoting a book called "From Fit to Fat to Fit". Have any of you heard of this publication? In any event, this ad featured a man and a woman who were showing the audience how to make this special dish consisting of vegetables, wheatgerm, peanut butter and I do not know what all! The woman mentioned how Whoopi Goldberg who hate vegetables was introduced to this concoction. Her words on the subject were "I thought it was taste disgusting"! Once I heard the word, my mind went right back to what Julie said when she took Katie's arm and swung her around! Oh the memories!
