Buddy is the funniest, and Laura is the ultimate dream wife (hubba hubba). But I'll go with Rob as my favorite character on the show. Afterall, he was the focal point of the entire series. But mostly because he's exactly the type of guy you'd like to work with or have as a neighbor.

Alan Brady was a hoot, too, in the episodes he was in.

I loved the interplay between Buddy and Mel! Their banter was the stuff of legends.

Sally was my favorite. I thought she was funny especially when she was manhunting.

It's hard to pick just one since they were all such great characters and all so well played by a superb cast! But the purpose of this thread is to chose one so I'll take Buddy Sorrell, the human joke machine!
