Between vivian she could get tough in certain episodes of the show she had uncle phil scared out of his mind, hilary was really mean in season 1 like in the pilot, ashly turned into a evil character in season 5 and 6 it got to the point where she thought of will as a loser they did not seem as close like the early seasons like season 1 and 2, so which lady did you think was the meanest on the FP ???

Janet Hubert Witten.

She was funny, but she got fired for not controlling her anger.

jazz's sister (played by vivica fox) by far. she was straight up abusive :O

I never thought Vivian was mean. She had her moments (attitude when first finding out about pregnancy, not wanting Phil to run for a higher position in politics) but I felt they were for the most part, justified.

Janet (Jazz's sister), Hilary and Ashley all showed the most selfishness, I thought.

how could i forget merissa redman - hilary's boss, played by queen latifah? she was hilarious though, haha.

also kayla samuals, aunt viv's college student that will ends up dating. she couldn't stand him at first. they had a full out dissing match lol

Marissa is deinfitely another honorable mention. Thought she was better than everyone and treated them like they were below her. She was just as bad as Janet, maybe worse, in that regard.

Janet and Marissa were awful, but there was another one-off character that I hated:
The girl who bribed Will to date her and make her more popular, who had the nerve to demand to get her gifts to him back.
What was up with her?
Sure, it was clear that the episode tried to make a point that Will was wrong to date her just for the gifts.
But by that point, she had no right to demand anything back from him.
He had been paid to do something and had earned his salary.
This girl was never told off for her behavior either like Janet and Marissa eventually were, which irks me to this day.
