This Movie-of-the-week stars Austin Butler as Cody Weible, a junior in high school who, after getting a laptop for his birthday, ends up a victim of vicious insults and false stories heaped on him by several students. Cody, who had been a straight-A student and a star of his hockey team develops a change of personality and attitude as a result of the bullying. Marcia Cross co-stars as his widowed mom Mary. Also featured are Kevin Dunn as the hockey team's coach, Heather Paige Kent as Lori Soens, a special education teacher whose attempts to help Cody end up hurting him, Kim Dickens as his homeroom teacher, and James Sikking as the principal Richard Lacey.
