Hey guys,
20 years ago, Michael Jordan announced his retirement from the NBA after winning straight championship with the Chicago Bulls for baseball During his retirement from the NBA, Hakeem Olajuwon and the Houston Rockets and Patrick Ewing and the New York Knicks went head to head in the 1994 NBA Finals They took it 7 games, but the Rockets came out on top to win their very 1st NBA Championship, but in 1995 during the 94/95 Season, Michael Jordan came back to the NBA after his failed attempt @ Baseball, but lost to the Magic in the NBA Playoffs and in the 1995 NBA Finals, the Rockets won their 2nd straight NBA Championship sweeping Shaquille O'Neal and the Orlando Magic However, Jordan returned to the NBA Finals in 1996 for the 1st time in 3 years since 1993 But here's the real question: What if Jordan had never left the NBA for baseball and what if the Chicago Bulls with Jordan and Pippen played against the Houston Rockets with Hakeem Olajuwon and even with Clyde Drexler on the team? That's the Question! Please share your thoughts on all of this ![]() ![]()

It would been a great match-up and it is tough to say although I am glad that the Magic defeated Jordan's Bulls even though they got swept in the Finals against a better Rockets team since I am a Magic fan
If I had to guess, I think the Rockets would have won in 6 games since Jordan's team did not gel together as a team when he came back from retirement |

Well you may be right on that one
Had Jordan played against the Rockets in '95 after coming out of retirement, then the Rockets would've probably won the NBA Championship, but if Jordan had not retired in the 1st place, then it would've been a different story, they probably would've won in '94 and a again in '95 and they probably would've had 8 championship in a row if they went all the way But other than that, it would've been a great match-up, but on the other hand, we probably would not have seen the Rockets play against the New York Knicks in '94 and the Magic in '95 |

Those are good pictures of Michael and Akeem especially the first picture. I think if Michael hadn't retired the first time, the Bulls would've won championships in 1994 and 1995. Those Bulls teams were very good and Michael was the best player and it would've been hard for teams to defeat the Bulls from getting a championship.
