Could the Witches have helped Aunt Clara?

Do you think it would have been against the witches' "code of ethics" or something for the witches to help Aunt Clara and maybe restore her powers to where they would work properly?

I know a lot of ppl assume that maybe the witches had some sort of a code of ethics that they were not to disrupt the flow of nature, and sadly getting old and feeble is part of it.

Dont know. Interesting that no one ever tried to help restore her powers to working order.

I seem to remember one episode where the Witches Council tried to strip Clara of her powers, as she was what used to be called senile.

This issue brings so many other questions to mind, like could the Witches have fed all the starving children, helped ppl and children who were being abused, etc....
