Multiple sources confirm to Digest that Kelly Sullivan, who took over the role of GH's Kate Howard in 2011, will be exiting as Kate's integrated persona, Connie.

An ABC spokesperson reminds that the network does not comment on contract status.

That is too bad, I really liked her she was perfect in her part as Kate/Connie. Now Sonny will be free to be with Liv.

It didn't say the role wouldn't be recast, meaning conflict is the only thing that keeps soap storylines going, that is why hardly any couples remain happy when dating or married.
