Default What email provider do you have? Gmail has turned out to be trash

All of a sudden my emails are delayed. Whoever sends me a email at 12pm I wouldn't get it until 4:43pm

I have no choice but to delete my account

I have Gmail and haven't noticed any delays. I'm subscribed to a newsletter and it came at 10:30 this morning like usual. I used to be on yahoo but I dropped that because I had to keep closing my windows everytime I logged into it.

Not sure what's wrong with mine. Even with this site I was not getting the email notification when someone responded to a thread

i still use Gmail, but the newest changes are horrible - Yahoo is what I use most.

I have completely given up on Hotmail since the forced downgrade to Outlook - not a fan of that at all, way too slow, problematic and error-prone, why does it need to run 30 different scripts just to display your Inbox?

I don't know. I just sent a pm to myself and it notified me in my E-Mail right away. Must be a kink in the system somewhere.

I have both Gmail and Yahoo accounts and I haven't had delay problems with either. I have noticed, however, that when I'm using my laptop, any email from both providers will show up on my phone before it hits my laptop. I use Yahoo the most simply because I'm more familiar/comfortable with the lay out. Several of my friends use Gmail exclusively now due to virus/spam issues with Yahoo.

To avoid spam with yahoo you just have to choose a creative password

Hotmail and Bellsouth.net. I Abandoned one hotmail account because it became overrun with spam. I just created a new account and carried on from there.
