Default Lebron or Durant

If you could pick one guy to build your team around (if you had a team) who would you choose? I'd take Durant. He can do most of what Lebron can do, but he's also a great free throw shooter averaging 10 a game only missing one, and he's a great three point shooter. Lebron's main advantage is in assists, bit Durant is no slouch there either averaging 5 a game. There's nothing he can't do. Lastly, I'd choose him because he's younger than Lebron. Who'd you build your team around?

It Durant for me...I'm STILL mad at LeBron who keeps throwing salt on Cleveland's wounds!

I had a feeling there would be alot of Lebron haters. Even if I loved the guy, I'd still go with Durant. Points, blocks, steals, assists, rebounds, threes, free throws, fg%, the guy has zero weaknesses in his game. Still irks me that my Trailblazers passed on him.

I can't believe ya'll would pick Durant over Lebron. Lebron is a better player because he can do a lot of things and he will help your team win championships which he has proven to do. Yes i know some people wanna complain and say he had to join 2 stars to get some championships but i wouldn't consider Chris Bosh a star and Dwayne Wade isn't as good as he used to be. Dwayne can be good sometimes but if Lebron hadn't came to Miami, they wouldn't have any championships. When Lebron came to Cleveland, they were terrible and he turned them into a winner. He got them to the finals in 2007 and they hadn't been to the finals probably since never hahahahahaha. MrCleveland, you need to get over Lebron leaving and stop crying about it. What's done is done. I was mad at him for leaving Cleveland but i got over it. If you wanna be mad at somebody, be mad at Cleveland's management for not getting him any better teammates. Durant is just a scorer. He's a decent rebounder but he's not a good defender. Lebron will have more championships than Durant when their careers are over. Durant will be lucky if he wins one.

Totally disagree, Durant can do it all. 28 points, 5 assists, 8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.3 steal, three point shooting, and great free throws. His stats prove that he is more than just a scorer.

The thing about Durant, he has amazing stats across the board and he hasn't even peaked yet. In his mid 20's he's nowhere near his peak, so as good as he currently is, he will only get better.

While that is true, Durant is younger than Lebron and that is another reason I would take Durant over Lebron plus Durant is a class act and Lebron is a jerk, I met Kevin 2 months ago and he was one of the nicest guys I ever met

I don't care what ya'll say. Lebron is better and until Durant wins some championships, then we can have this discussion. Lebron's stats are better than Durant's stats. I don't care how many times Durant leads the league in scoring.

Yeah, but you have to remember Isiah, it took Lebron nine years, and going to a team with Wade and Bosh before he finally won a championship. If you compare Lebron and Durant's season six stats, aside from assists, they are quite comparable in many ways.

Lebron: 28.4 points, 1.1 blocks, 1.7 steals, 7.2 assists, 7.6 rebounds, 78% free throws, 34.4% free throw shooting, 48.9% field goal shooting. Compare that to Durant's 28.1 pts, 1.3 blocks, 1.4 steals, 4.6 assists, 7.9 rebounds, 90.5% free throw shooting, 41.6% three point shooting, and 51% field goal shooting.

If I were looking from a stat stand point, I'd say Durant was a little better overall in his sixth season. Slightly better shot blocker, free throw shooter, three point shooter, and a better fg percentage. Lebron has an advantage in assists, and a slight steals advantage. They are virtually tied in points and rebounds. I'll give it to you, Lebron is a better defender, but Durant is far better than average, and in time will become a better defender too, much like how Lebron worked on his shot to be a better three point shooter.

Right now Lebron is in his peak years, while Durant is a couple years from the normal peak age. For that reason, and every other reason I brought up, I'd pick him over Lebron. The number one reason though, as previously stated, he's a class act, and the type of guy I'd like to build a team around. Give him time, he'll win championships too I'm sure.

I apologize...but I still can't even get over the Baltimore Ravens winning the Super Bowl again! Which in my honest opinion was the WORST Super Bowl I've ever seen...not even the commercials nor the Halftime Show was entertaining!

PS-I don't even care for basketball...LeBron may be in Miami and get a Three-peat, but everyone who isn't from Akron nor Miami will STILL hate his ass...even if he goes to the Lakers people will still loathe him except the city he plays in and Akron.

I have to disagree about the worst Superbowl I ever seen

The Ravens-Giants Superbowl is the worst Superbowl I ever seen

At least the Ravens-49ers was close at the end

I just hate The Ravens, they were Art Modell's Team and seeing the ravens win is like throwing salt on the wounds...and seeing the ghost of Modell taunting his 2 Super Bowl rings while the 49ers HAVE to hear this....

I must face it...Cleveland IS Cursed and can't forgive nor forget!

I like the Ravens, but my team is the Atlanta Falcons and I'm from Louisiana, but people use to ask me, how can you like the Falcons and not the Saints?

Well everyone from Louisiana doesn't root for the Saints and I'm one of them and my little brother is a Dallas Cowboys fan even though he doesn't like Tony Romo

Now, the Ravens-49ers Game was AWESOME and I was SO happy to see Ray Lewis retire a winner and the Ravens are my 2nd team in the NFL

I know that some people that I talk to are still pissed @ Ray Lewis, but he deserved another Super Bowl

Right on and I do agree about Durant, he did something classy which was donate $1,000,000 to the victums of Oklahoma, but that's another story and another time, but I, too will pick Durant over Lebron

The only person I like on the Heat is D-Wade and I do like Norris Cole, the rest I can do without
