Default Let's talk about former posters that you miss

Former posters on this forum you miss. I already mentioned Todd Mueller a few days ago, which also happens to be one of my favorite segments.

I was going to say Corky Knievel too. He was a hoot.

I miss justins5256 a lot. I always enjoyed his perspective on a case.

mphs95 posted here recently, but hasn't in a pretty good while. I lol every time I see that Jerry-Strickland-in-jail-stripes avatar.

And LaToyaBoy. He was a sweetheart.

I must confess I miss seeing some avatars and screen names from the olden days. Crushed Velvet and Skunk Ape come to mind right off the bat. There are probably others.

And OldSchooler81. A fellow 80's fan

I'm pretty sure Corky is still around. He just doesn't post as often as he should Unless he has a retirement thread that I missed...

On some level, I kind of miss our former resident racist/anti-semite. He was fun in a "does it hurt to be that stupid" sort of way.

ETA: I lied. I don't. I just found his forum. He's WAY worse than we thought.

Are you referring to the bodybuilder guy who constantly talked about black on white crime?

That'd be him. I googled Molly Bish and his forum came up.

That guy's not firing on all cylinders. After he was put on universal ignore (after beng warned by CD not once but twice to stay OT and stop the racist rants) he sent me a bizarre barrage of private messages screaming about how "he knew" I reported him to SO (I did not). He then went on to spew more of his incessant garbage about race and then finally complimented me on my vocabulary (which he apparently found to be on par with his own) before he finally left me alone.

He's not the creepiest individual I've had pm me on the board, but he's up there.

What an idiot. Glad he's gone.

Whatever happened to Mastermind? Someone wrote up a great UM style thread bemoaning his absence.

I enjoyed reading Mastermind's posts, even though I usually thought they were way off base, they were fun to read. His grammar was pretty poor too.(constantly using semicolons for apostraphes and writing "your" instead of "you're")

I couldn't read Mastermind's posts. You are right about the poor grammar, but what really got me were the sentence fragments. It's like he stopped in the middle of a thought and then went on to the next thought.

Me too. I thought he came up with some pretty...interesting...ideas frequently. Nonetheless, I enjoyed having him around because he was always really into the discussions. He was enthusiastic, and he was always absolutely pleasant. He wasn't a know-it-all like cocytus (whose theories I often found preposterous, frankly--I distinctly remember something about Pamela June Ray being a prostitute ), or one of those three-post types that contribute little more than "PAUL POLLIS IZ STUPID!!1!" He was generally just a very nice guy who really enjoyed discussing cases. I can definitely appreciate that.
