Max Greenfield Signs on "Veronica Mars" Film

Deputy Leo is patrolling once more.

As long suspected, "New Girl" star Max Greenfield will return for the Veronica Mars movie, the actor recently confirmed to Gold Derby.





Fans will remember Greenfield as the young P.I.’s one-time love interest and a member of the sheriff’s department.

“I will be there for the movie. So will Deputy Leo. I’m really excited about it,” he told the site during a video chat.

“It’s one of those few occasions where you’re going to work on something — I think I’m going down to work for a day — where everybody is just so excited to be there, everybody is going to be going full-force on this project. It’s going to be a fun reunion. You really want to go in there and do some really solid work, because obviously people put up their own money to see this.”



Production on the film began this week in Los Angeles.
