Default Martin's mother was a LIAR!!! LOL

The episode when Martin told Denise that his Mom can't stand her, Clair meets with her in the kitchen and confronts her with "You said u can't stand my daughter"

Then martin's mother says....."I never said that" and tried to put it all on Martin.

What else was the woman going to say while she was in Denise mother's house??? YES I CAN"T STAND YOUR DAUGHTER

I thought Martin's mother was a total biotch. It was one of the rare times that I wanted Claire to give anyone a smakdown.

She was lying because she was afraid of Claire. It was so obvious that Martin's mother was scared! You know she really thought Denise was a flake, and she didn't think Denise was good enough to be a step-mother to the little granddaughter. If Martin's mom was honest, I think Claire would have ripped her apart.

Denise was a flake so I can understand her not liking Denise. Yes she did like but I can understand it somewhat.

Solomon, you started a topic on this years ago. I still laugh about it. LOL. As a kid, I wondered if this woman was trying to do a "CYA" thing to save herself? The writers had to do a re write in order to bring the N Laws into the fold. This topic always cracks me up.

I know! Who does that?
Your mom doesn't like your wife? Keep it to yourself, stupid.
