Jerry Seinfeld on his All Time Favorite Scene from "Seinfeld"
Jerry Seinfeld answered a fan's question on AOL's "I Call Shotgun!" about what his favorite scene from "Seinfeld" was.
"This is a hard, hard question and I can't really say that I'm going to answer it. I'll say the scene where me, and George, and Kramer are in the coffee shop - it's the end of the Marine Biologist. Kramer has hit the golf ball into the blowhole of the whale, George while pretending to be a Marine Biologist to impress his girlfriend has saved the whale... The night before we shot it Larry, and David, and I wrote that whole long speech that Jason does, it was such a crazy thing. We did not see the connection between these two stories before we started making the show. We didn't realize that maybe the reason the whale is having problems is because of Kramer hitting the golf ball inside. I just loved that scene." Andy Cohen then remarked that it seemed like the later episodes did all inter-relate in some way. "It didn't seem that way, it was that way," Jerry answered. "It started probably around the 3rd year or so. We also talked about what if something really bad happens at the end instead of a good ending. That turned into a good thing with someone getting crushed at the end of the episode." http://on.aol.com/video/seinfelds-fa...6pLid%3D329233 |
