I've often wondered if Vincent Price was ever approached or considered for a spot on Gilligan's Island.

This was common for TV show producers to use scenes from movies instead of going through the expense of creating the scenes themselves. For example. If you watch the 70s TV series "Incredible Hulk" The episode 747, you will see scenes taken from the movie "Airport 1975. They even use the same mountain scenes and airline name "Columbia" That was in the movie.
