Seems like most of their shows are from 1969 and before and the shows they did have from the 1970's is now on a break which is Bob Newhart. And MTM seem to vanish from the channel altogether and just never could figure out why Me-TV stays away from the 1970-79 era?

I think part of the problem is Antenna TV has the broadcast rights to a lot of 70's sitcoms, so until that expires, Me-TV can't get them. And they still have MTM and The Odd Couple, so it's not like they completely abandoned the 70's.

It's there. 9:00pm. Also they used to air Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and Taxi at one point not too long ago, so they have aired other 70's sitcoms before.

The Brady Bunch has been on heavily and is mostly a '70s series. How about M*A*S*H as well?
Some of their non-sitcom programs are also from the '70s: Adam-12 Columbo Emergency Hawaii Five-O Kojak Night Gallery They also used to air Cannon, The Streets of San Francisco and The Rockford Files. That's quite a few '70s shows. |
