Is there any way we could write to someone about combining these two shows into one and then showint them both under the name "Golden Girls" on Lifetime?

i agree that Lifetime should do this, I dont know how to let them know though. I have always thought this as well. I would really love to see The Golden Palace. And if possible, do like you said, run through all 7 seasons, but then act like the Golden Palace is the 8th season of GG, but I would still like to see it as Golden Palace, with its own theme song. I really like both, and Would love to hear GP more, see it on tv, ya know.

LIFETIME WILL NEVER AIR GOLDEN PALACE UNFORTUNATELY. I WROTE TO TOUCHTONE A YEAR AGO AND THERE ARE NO PLANS TO RELEASE THE GOLDEN PALACE TO ANY NETWORK BECAUSE THERE WERE ONLY 24 EPISODES MADE. THE ONLY WAY TO SEE THESE IS TO FIND SOMEBODY WHO TAPED THEM FROM CBS. I'VE GOT 22 OF THEM AND I KNOW THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE WHO DID THE SAME.

I wonder if it has anything to do with NBC doing TGG and CBS doing TGP. Perhaps different owners... who knows.
It's mainly the fact that it didn't run long enough... It will probably appear someday... |

Well I for one would like to see it in syndication and I strongly believe that it would do well in the ratings. Although Beatrice Arthur was not a regular, it was still funny. The acting was great. The writing was great along with the cast. Beatrice Arthur making those 2 appearances just made it sweeter.

After seeing "Seems Like Old Times" I think if GP DID have Bea, it would be one pretty hilarious show, and could have gone on at least 4-5 seasons! Too bad she had to leave.
