Default Notable Moments of Nudity in Film and Television

OK, I normally dont discuss topics like this, but in light of Michael Douglas and Matt Damon baring all as, respectively, Walter Liberace and his gay lover, Scott Thorson (later revealed to be Bisexual in the film), here are some notable moments of Nudity throughout Film and Television History.

1. NightScream -- In this 1996 made-for-TV film, telecast the following year on April 14, 1997 (8 days after Candace Cameron Bure turned 22), AS evidenced in the following YouTube video located at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpYx5Zonjgg Candace Cameron Bure, then a 21-year-old young newlywed to now-retired Pro Hockey Player Val Bure, a scene from this movie features a 37-second clip of Candace answering the door, covered in only a bedsheet; if you readers PAUSE at JUST the right moment (12 seconds into the clip, in fact), as I did, you will notice AS she rises from the bed, a side-boob shot (NOT to be confused with a Nipple Slip) of Candace, proving her nakedness is valid.

2. When You Remember Me -- In Summer 1990, just before his 15th birthday (after completing his 2nd season on the hit 1980s family drama The Wonder Years), Fred Savage made a made-for-TV movie titled When You Remember Me, based on the true story of Michael Patrick Mills (renamed Michael Patrick Smith for the movie), a kid (played by Fred) with severe Muscular Dystrophy; according to the October 7, 1990 issue of TV Guide Magazine, a scene (whether its included in the original airing of the movie is unclear) featured Fred being escorted into the Showers by the actor portraying the orderly in the movie, and per TV Guide, for a few moments, Fred was completely butt-naked, unable to cover himself. Since his Wonder Years ended 2 decades ago, Fred, who will turn 38 on July 9, has become a successful film/TV director after graduating from Stanford.

3. Camp Cucamonga -- Nearly 15 minutes into this hilarious 1990 telefilm (made that Summer and telecast on September 23, 1990), which featured a slew of 1980s child actors (along with future TV Friend Jennifer Aniston), a group of boy campers (led by Jaleel White and featuring Chad Allen, Dion Zamora and Josh Saviano) videotaped a group of girl campers (including Candace Cameron, Misty McCoy, Tasha Scott and Rachel Verduzco) while the girl campers were singing NAKED in the Shower.

4. How I Met Your Mother -- In this 2008 episode of the hit CBS Television Network sitcom, ending its 9-year run in May 2014, Neil Patrick Harris, as Barney Stinson, adapts a Naked Man scheme involving being naked in front of a girl in order to get Sex. (On a semi-related note, Neil, turning 40 on June 15, bared his naked butt in a Showtime telefilm titled The Man in the Attic in 1994).

5. Now and Then -- This 1995 film (made on location in Savannah, Georgia) featured a scene where a group of teenage boys are seen Skinny-Dipping by a group of teenage girls who promptly steal their clothes, forcing the boys to bare their naked buttocks as they leave the pool.

6. Dream On -- This hit HBO Television Network sitcom, created by movie director John Landis, featured TONS of Nudity throughout its 8-season, 6-year, 120 half-hour episode run.

7. Evening Shade -- The 2-part 2nd-season debut of this hit 1990-1994 CBS Television Network sitcom, created by and starring movie star Burt Reynolds, featured a scene involving Burt, along with the late character actors Charles Durning and Mike Jeter, skinny-dipping in a lake, prompting the women of Evening Shade to steal their clothes and the men to roam the streets naked.

8. About Schmidt -- This hit 2002 comedy starring Jack Nicholson featured an infamous scene, earning the film an R rating, where Kathy Bates comes out of the hot tub BUTT NAKED!!!!!

9. Starship Troopers -- This hit 1997 Science Fiction film, adapted for the Multiplex by Paul Verhoeven and based on a book by Robert Heinlein, featured a scene involving a Co-Ed Shower involving most of the cast (including Casper Van Dien) who bared their naked butts and boobs.

10. Home Improvement -- An episode of this hit 1990s Disney sitcom featured Tim Allen, as his character Tim Taylor, mistakenly walking in on his sister-in-law Nancy (Jensen Daggett) butt-naked; as expected, hilarity ensues for the rest of this episode, although in this case, I believe that in actuality, when taping the scene, Tim Allen, in reality, was actually wearing Boxer Shorts.

11. Whos the Boss -- In JUST the 2nd episode of this hit 1980s ABC Television Network sitcom, Judith Light, as Angela Bower, is taking a luxurious bath and reveals herself to Tony Danza, as Tony Micelli, completely naked; per his E! True Hollywood Story episode telecast on December 25, 2005, Tony Danza admitted that the shock on his face in the scene was VERY real, because he expected Judith Light to be in pasties and/or underwear; instead, Judith REALLY was NAKED!

12. Leave It To Beaver -- A 1962 episode from late in the run of this hit 1950s sitcom featured an elderly actor playing a homeless man taken in by Jerry Mathers as the Beaver; a scene from this episode featured the actor taking a Bubble Bath in Beavers home; as with the Home Improvement scene, I believe the actor at least was wearing pants or underpants.

13. The Love Boat -- An episode of this hit 1970s Cruiseship Drama, created by Aaron Spelling, featured a love scene between Diahann Carroll and Ted Lange, the latter actor of whom was supposed to be naked in the scene, but as Ted humorously mentioned in an A&E Biography episode highlighting The Love Boat, Ted was dressed, wearing pants under the bedsheet.

On that note, thats all I have for right now, but any additions of notable Nudity in Film and Television would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

in "MASH" in the eoisode "The sniper" there's a very, very, very brief shot of Gary Burghoffs butt in one scene. But it happens so fast it's like "blink & you'll miss it".
And in the episode "DEAR DAD AGAIN" Hawkeye makes a bet with Trapper that he can walk around the camp naked and noone'll notice. (of course, Alan Alda was really wearing shorts-they wouldn't allow an actor to actually walk around the set naked!!!!)

And in the movie, Hot Lips was in the shower when they pulled the curtain down (Gary Burghoff and director Robert Altman stood behind the camera and mooned Sally Kelerman so they could get the shot)
