(The Boston Bruins won the Eastern Conference Semifinals, 4 games to 1, by beating the NY Rangers 3-1.)

(Ralph marches down to the pool room with Ed.)

Ralph: "You and yoru big mouth Norton. Now since those Rangers lost, I owe Harvey some money."

Ed: "I just want to say Ralph that you are a very big man for doing what you are doing. As a matter of fact, you are literally..."

Ralph (yells): "DON'T YOU DARE SAY IT!"

Ed: "Boy, if you didn't give Harvey the money, there would be an exciting event around here."

Ralph: "Yeah, waht would that be?"

Ed: "The hanging of you when Harvey catches you after you tried to run away from him."

(Ralph has an angry look in his eyes.)

Ralph: "Norton, you are lucky that I don't hit you with a hockey puck just like the Rangers did. As a mtter of fact, I would like to belt you right in the mouth and when I do, I am going to yell: 'SCORE'!"

Ed: "It's bad enough that our Rangers lost in a convincing fashion but for you to lose money, that's double."

Ralph: "Thank you Norton. I am sad that the Rangers lost but the Bruins were a better team in this series."

Ed: "So true Ralph."

(Harvey comes in.)

Harvey: "Hiya Ralph! What brings you here?"

Ralph (surprised): "Oh, I...just wanted to play pool and after the game, I was going to get out of here."

Harvey: "Oh, that's nice."

Ralph: "Do you remember?"

Harvey: "Remember what?"

Ralph: "What would happen if the Rangers lost?"

Harvey: "No, I don't remember."

Ralph: "Oh, you don't...Gee, I don't remember either pal." (lookign at his watch): "Oh, look at the time. I got to go home and watch CBS."

Ed: "No, what about the money Ralph."

Ralph: "NORTON!"

Harvey: "Oh, that's right. You owe me money Ralph. I completly forgot."

(Ralph hands him $200.)

Ed: "You are a true man for not wanting to beat up Ralph here. Also, if it wasn't for me, Ralph wouldn't be the man that he is today."

Ralph (yells): "NORTON, OUT! GET OUT! GEEEEEET OUT! I AM GOING TO BEAT YOU UP!"

(Ralph cahses after Ed.)

Harvey (to camera): "And they say that I am a bully."

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. I just want to say that since we have some Bruins fans here, that the Bruins were the better team in this series."

(People in the audience cheer.)

Jackie: "And I also want to say that the Miami Beach audiences are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!

(Audience cheers.)
