He told his parents the Kids LAUGH at him and the Teacher makes fun of him.

Not sure if this is just in Philly but I never ever met a Bully who other kids made fun of because if that was true then how can they BULLY people? Someone is a Bully is a person that other kids are afraid of so why in the world would they laugh at him?

Then Michael makes no sense again when JJ said it's smart for Micheal to help the Bully because if he goes to the 7th grade it he would be ripping off someone else's lunch

Then Michael responds with......."No JJ that's not it at all, I helping Eddie because I figured How can you steal someone who helps you?

I believe that is what JJ said

A real bully can't bully anyone if people are always laughing at him and making fun of him. That would weaken him and nobody would be afraid of him. Doesn't make sense.

Exactly, it was a known bully in my elementary school who everyone was scared of. But he wanted to only fight grown men which was good because if he had bullied me I think I would have killed myself

But like you said kids didn't laugh at someone they were afraid of

And even if the teacher made fun of him I believe at the age of 12 the bully would have taken action

Michael never referred to Eddie as a bully. Michael said he was a dumb kid. Flo is the one who called Eddie a bully when the family was giving Michael ideas on how to deal with Eddie. Then James started calling Eddie a punk and telling Michael to confront Eddie and to give it to him good.

Michael brought Eddie home and told his parents that Eddie gets the lowest grades in the class and the teacher makes fun of him. He says the kids make fun of him because of his bad grades. Michael said that would make anyone feel bad. Michael never said Eddie was a bully to any of the kids at school. Michael even got aggressive with Eddie in the elevator in the beginning of the episode.

What didn't make sense to me was, why was Michael taking lunch to school. Why wasn't Michael getting a free lunch? Surely he qualified.

Check out the beginning of the episode. Eddie confronts Michael in the elevator, takes his lunch and Michael gets mad and starts to push Eddie. He then tells him why doesn't he join the free lunch program. Eddie says he does get free lunch - Michael's lunch.

Your question inferred that other kids were being bullied and there was no way a group of kids would laugh at a bully. A bully doesn't necessarily taunt and bully an entire school, usually they do that to people who are weak. Michael was being subjected to bullying tactics, but answering your specific question, the other kids in the classroom and the teacher were not being subjected to Eddie's bullying. If anything, Michael saw what the other students was doing was just as bad.

Exactly. Most people - kids and adults - don't believe in getting physical, kicking people's butts, and so on.

Besides, when Michael needed to kick some butt, he did. When those thugs try to take Florida's wedding ring and mess with her, Michael got physical with the one guy.
