Default Antenna TV has done it once again

They're showing a stupid war movie marathon all day Memorial Day and I have to miss Diff'rent Strokes again for a stupid marathon and this time it's 4 of the usual 6 episodes each week. I am so unhappy with them. I think the block parties were a bad move. If they were going to change them this time, they should have kept Diff'rent Strokes on Wednesday, put All in the Family on Friday, and moved the black and white shows to Saturday and gotten rid of the stupid movie block on Saturday nights. They show too many movies.

My main issue with Antenna TV is that they don't show sitcoms on Saturday and never understood why.

While I am not a huge fan of War Movies. I have had friends and relatives die fighting for our country and I use this time to remember them even if only for One Day.

I wont miss Anold, Willis and Mr. D that day, but there are people that will be missed.

Wait! Don't they have something on their Saturday/Sunday afternoon block?

Antenna TV does show too many movies but I can understand today showing them. After all, it is Memorial Day.

Yes, from 1-5PM both days they show McHale's Navy, Gidget, The Flying Nun, and The Monkees. The Saturday sitcom time would be less though than the other days.

OK. That's what I thought. I always thought that they had an afternoon schedule block.

And now they're gonna have a Father Knows Best marathon on Father's Day which will again get in the way of Diff'rent Strokes. It seems since this last schedule change they have had some kind of marathon every other week and it has been on a day DS is on. I've about had it and if they keep this up I will quit watching Antenna TV and just buy the Diff'rent Strokes DVDs.

That would be a good move if the show was complete on DVD lol

Boo, that means it will preempt Benson and Barney Miller too. Benson should not be preempted so often, the time works for me but with all the marathons and only airing 2 episodes a week it will take forever to get through the show. Father Knows Best is overrated, there are better shows they could have chosen for a marathon, especially with FKB having aired last year as well.

And now they've got to show their stupid annual Jerry Lewis movie marathon on Labor Day. What's even dumber, is that they are repeating the same 4 movies 3 times that day. They could have just shown them Saturday night and gone on with their normal schedule.

Nothing new, they never show anything good on a holiday. This station is quickly becoming TV Land's cousin

Solomon, be careful what you wish for. lol
I dont think Antenna TV is going down TV Land's path but there Saturday night primetime lineup has a lot to be desired.
