Default Which TV children looked like their TV parents? Which didn't?

Which TV children looked like their TV parents, and which didn't. The children must be biological and not related to each other. I do not know all the actors names and too late and lazy to look up. But these are my choices....

Looks alike:

The actor who played Bud looked like the son of Al Bundy.

Frank Dumphy/Phil Dumphy.

Roseanne Connor/DJ and Darlene.

Red Foreman/Eric Foreman.

Ward Cleaver and Wally.

The Brady Boys and Mike Brady, especially Greg (and all the boys).

The middle son of Tim Taylor on Home Improvement.

Not close:

The daughter of Al Bundy.

Alex Keaton was too short to be the son of Mr. Keaton.

The daughters on Too Close For Comfort do not even look related to each other.

The blonde children of the Barones. Ray is Italian and Debra has dark hair, the kids are blonde.

Lamont Sanford and Fred Sanford.

Andy Taylor and Opie Taylor.

I think "7th heaven" did a pretty good job with making the Camdens look like they could have been a real family. The only real exception would be Mackenzie Rosnan (Ruthie). She always looked darker than the other Camdens, and none of the others had curly hair.

Lookalikes that I've noticed:

Ricky and Little Ricky Ricardo

Morticia and Wednesday Addams

Samantha and Tabitha Stephens

Donna and Mary Stone

The daughters on Petticoat Junction did not look alike. There was a blonde, a brunette and a red-head. Not sure, but I think one had blue eyes and the others had brown eyes. Plus, 3 different actresses played Billie Jo. Meredith MacRae did not look like Gunilla Hutton or Jeannine Riley. We never meet the girl's father because he was deceased. Could it be possible that Kate cheated and the girl's had different fathers?

In cartoons and comics, it's not unusual to have three or four different hair colors within one family. Both the Powerpuff girls and the Kanker sisters in "Ed, Edd & Eddy" are prime examples of sister trios, where each one has a different hair color. And in Disney's "The little mermaid", Ariel has six sisters, with four hair colors within that family! But in real life, such a variety within the same family isn't that common, unless of course you're only half-siblings. (Let's also remember that red hair is more common in cartoons and comics than in real life.) So while I've never seen "Petticoat Junction", it sounds like they stretched their credibility there.

Your scandalous and funny at the same time. Kate's children by 3 different fathers. I tend the think the casting dept overlooked a bit.

I totally agree about Samantha and Tabitha. Erin Murphy STILL looks like Liz to this day!!!

On the now-defunct NBC soap opera, Santa Barbara, Nicolas Coster and John Allen Nelson (Lionel and Warren Lockridge) not only looked enough alike to really be father and son, but their voices also sounded alike and they had similar mannerisms. It was almost eerie!!!

Corin Nemec and Timothy Stack from Parker Lewis Can't Lose always looked like they could be real life father and son to me. Great casting there.

You may be right about that. Let's take a look:

On further review, that looks fairly close!

Now if you want to see something really weird, how about these sitcom nephews who look incredibly like their TV uncles? Notice I meant uncles and not parents:

Uncle Bob Collins and nephew Chuck MacDonald ("Love That Bob")

No wonder Dobie Gillis turned blond! I'm not kidding! That was the real reason it happened!

Uncle Bill Davis and his nephew Jody ("Family Affair")

Even Mr French might have a hard time explaining this!

One thing people tend to forget about Petticoat Junction is that the first 2 seasons were in black & white, so Betty Jo's red hair was not evident. Kind of cools the hype about Kate having fooled around with other men. Question: Was the fact that Betty Jo was a redhead ever mentioned during PJ's first 2 seasons?

I thought Eddie, Laura, and Judy Winslow all resembled Carl and Harriette.
