Not impressed at all. Still bad scheduling, and hardly anything appeals to me. I'll just stick to my I Love Lucy and Brady Bunch DVDs. It would have been better for them to have never gotten Leave it to Beaver. That way, it could have stayed on Antenna TV and aired at better times. It was also bad to get rid of Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley last year. And they still aren't airing Get Smart enough or at a decent time, which is why I give up and I plan to buy all 5 seasons real soon. I also hear some more shows are coming in 2014:

I hope they air Andy Griffith and Matlock at a decent time although I'll probably just end up buying the complete series DVD of Andy Griffith whenever it goes on sale somewhere again.

Im assuming this will be a holding pattern until 2014, I guess. Personally, I'd like to see Leave it to Beaver, That Girl, Family Affair on. What I mean is that I can see Leave it to Beaver but my affiliate still hasnt picked up the whole programming schedule, which really annoys me.

I wont be able to see That Girl, Mon.-Fri. or The Lucy Show or My 3 Sons. I'm so sick of being stuck with Adam-12, Batman etc. Enough!!

It's always nice to see MeTV mix up their schedule. Of course I don't know what it takes to please some people; there is only so much you can do in finding ways to keep 50 year old reruns "fresh" while maintaining the respect these shows deserve. It's cool they are helping to cultivate their own channel's fanbase (in the same way pay TV used to operate) by constantly coming up with effective phrases like "shows going on summer vacation" just to let viewers know they'll eventually be back. In my eyes, it's these little things that endear a station to it's viewers.

In terms of the overall schedule changes, there is nothing huge here but they definitely made some wise choices. Replacing I Love Lucy with The Lucy Show makes complete sense. And Batman was screaming for more airtime. Seeing The Bob Newhart Show getting a rest makes me speculate that come fall they'll be rotating in & out the other sitcoms that have been anchoring the weekday primetime in some way since MeTV launched (The Mary Tyler Moore Show & The Dick Van Dyke Show).

For some series, they've switched between a.m. and p.m. for the first time:

Batman moves from Sat. evening to Sat. morning (unless that's just an additional airing)
Night Gallery moves from wee morning hours to late p.m.

Also, I think Make Room for Daddy had always been strictly Mon-Fri before, and now it's on weekends.

You didn't read it right. Andy Griffith and Matlock are not on national MeTV now but they are coming in Fall 2014.

not a bad schedule; I just wish that some of those shows would be on at a better time.

And as always I excited that they're keeping THE FUGITIVE and not moving it from sundays at midnight. And I hope they'll keep it in 2014.

I still wish they'd bring back GREEN ACRES though. O well!!

Just saw the list of shows coming to METV in 2014 ( http://metvnetwork.com/memorable.php ) and was really disappointed, since most are retreads from RTV and Antennatv. I hope Antennatv keeps bringing in new shows!

Oh no! I hope Diagnosis Murder and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour coming to Me-TV doesn't mean Encore Suspense will lose the rights. It's been nice watching that pair commercial free.
