Default I don't appreciate the second Maggie making fun of Philadelphia in ep last night

I cant remember what ep it was but Arnold was traveling to Philly for something and I think Mr. D said he is not going to Philadelphia for pleasure

And maggie says........"No one ever goes to Philadelphia for pleasure

I was like......................EXCUSE ME??? LOL

Well I have to say that in 1985, Philly was not all that exciting to visit.

You're complaining yet you refer to it as Stinkadelphia.

"StinkaDelphia" -- city of brotherly stink ???

Lots of people, myself included, would love to visit Philly -- especially to see Independence Hall. Some of us grew up listening to "Philadelphia Freedom."

(However, as a Pirates fan I had a dislike for the Phillies -- note how the Pirates went all the way in '71 and '79, while when the Phils beat them out for the division titles in the 1970s, the Phillies usually went on to get beat by the Reds or Dodgers out of the West.)

No I wasn't really complaining just pointing out how the city has come a long way since 85

It used to be referred to as a "a bathroom stop between NYC and DC"

I know this is a bump up topic but I am watching this ep now on Antenna TV and Maggie DID NOT make the joke. It was the travel agent Mrs. Gordon who made the joke. Our lovely, gorgeous Maggie #2 did say that she loves it.

When I think of Philadelphia I think of Rocky Balboa and the Fresh Prince.

Maggie #2 has been cleared of those charges, but I would still like charge her with impersonating a Drummond.

When I think of Philadelphia I think of Dr. J, Mike Schmidt and booing Santa Claus.

Nah. It's totally cool. Keep having fun. I was watching eps on Netflix last night because I missed antenna tv airings. Then I got to watching others and decided to tally up the amount of eps she was in. I only count 9 out of 19 eps. The budget must have really been tight to have a majority of the cast in a handful of episodes. Sam, Arnold and Mishter D. (As Sam puts it) appeared more than the other cast members.
