Need Opinion for Cheers reunion fanfic - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

i wrote a Cheers fanfic awhile ago(it can be found on the Cheers message board here, a few pages back), but i didn't like it so I'm rewriting it.

If you read it, the plot is staying the same, but I need a new way to open it(in the old version, the bar closed. in the new one, it has stayed open).

any ideas? thanks

Someones dying, someones getting married, someone is tearing the bar down, someones died, someone got rich, the bar got rich, the president visits the bar.
