Default Wonder why Antenna TV can't pick up ABP since it's still connected to AITF???

I mean ABP still has the main character who was on AITF living in the same house. Yeah he is no longer with Edith and the kids are gone but why not have that show in syndication too on Antenna TV so we can see the entire AITF era from 1971 to 1983???

I mean if Antenna TV can pick up the Three's Company spinoffs why not the AITF spinoffs???

I think that Antenna TV doesn't have the rights to air Archie Bunker's Place since there were fewer episodes than All in the Family. It would be nice to see some of those episodes again, including the one where Edith passes away.

It's a shame though because both shows are connected and it will show the entire Archie Bunker era during two different presidents

Wouldnt mind seeing ABP. I think TV Land, believe it or not TV Land, aired ABP back I want to say 2005? maybe earlier?2002? I would like to see the whole series although I dont think I'd be able to watch when Edith dies. I've seen the episode online and actually skipped through it because its too sad.

If the show was ever picked up I would only watch once and then probably skip over it once the episode was aired again.

WGN aired the series for a long time in the 1980's. It was on weekday mornings. TV land did air the show in the early 2000's but they never aired the entire series. I see no reason that Antenna TV couldn't pick it up.

Typical TV Land. Wonder why they didn't air the entire series since it only lasted 4 seasons

I think they only acquired the rights to certain episodes. I watched for the entire FOUR MONTHS that it was on TV Land. The first season aired and then a handful of season two eps aired, some from season three and four as well, NAN and TV LAND acquired a handful of eps of some shows back in 2002 and 2003 like Perfect Strangers, Head of the Class, Archie Bunkers Place and Charles In Charge. They never purchased full series packages.

If it were me and I was running Antenna TV, I would put all these rare shows on. ABP, Joanie loves Chacai, Perfect Strangers, Charles in Charge. You must saying "what if they dont draw any ratings?" Well, it would only be for a short time to see if people do watch. If they do, then they will continue, if they dont, then they'll be off the air. But you have to at least try. I mean I think we could survive w/o seeing the same shows for a little while.

They should since they aired all the spinoffs of Three's Company
