Heres the first part of My Cheers Fan fiction series. The series takes place in the modern day. If the response is good I'll write more parts. Parts will generally be quite short. I may even start a new series just about Diane.....depending on how I decide how to make the story go.

Part 1
(The plane has just taken off, Diane is on her way to Boston to visit Sam)
Diane- *starts to hum a tune she has just made up*
Man- Do you mind Miss I’m trying to read *he goes back to looking at his book*
Diane- I’m sorry I’m just excited that’s all, I’m going to visit a friend in Boston that I haven’t seen in nine years.
Man- That’s nice….
Diane- I don’t get to see him much, I live in California and he lives in Boston, and there’s not much time for us to socialize.
Man- That’s nice, write a book….
Diane- I’ve already written a book and a couple of movie screenplays…..do you recognize me from anywhere?
Man- Not that I can think of…..Oh I know now I’ve seen you on a couple of award shows, you were the one who always gave those long speeches…..you would go on and on about the strangest things….Wait a minute your Diane Chambers.
Diane- That’s correct….but I don’t find my speeches boring, strange or long, they have some importance you know.
Man- Lady…..I get the point I’m trying to read shut up already.
Diane- *she talks loudly* I’m trying to have a polite conversation with you and all you care about is reading a stupid magazine. I’ll shut up when I’m damn well ready!
(Everyone stares at her)
Diane- *she looks to everyone* I’m sorry….I’m excited I’m visiting a friend when I get off this plane.
Man2- *he whispers to his wife the woman sitting next to him* Next time we’ll fly first class.
Woman- Right.
(Some hours pass Diane continues to talk about her friend and her work and the dinner they serve and about anything she could think of, Then after a little while they landed and we see Diane getting off the plane)
Diane- Bye Everyone Its been a joyous experience.
Everyone- *mutters*
(She then rents a car and arrives at Cheers she gets there and sees that all the windows are boarded up and the sign says “closed”)
Diane- ::looks at it for a little bit::
(Fade out)

Part 2
Diane-*she gets back into her car and drives over to Lilith’s apartment, she knocks on her door*
Lilith- *she answers the door* Hello
Diane- Hi Lilith, Its Diane may I come in?
Lilith- I guess so…..
Diane- Thanks. *she looks worried*
Lilith- Something must be wrong.. Sit down.
Diane- Thank you…..
Lilith- Whats wrong? I’m off duty from work but for you I can make an exception and a cheaper rate.
Diane- Thanks I guess. It all started when I had a vacation from work so I decided to come and visit Sam as a surprise. I got on a plane and had a wonderful flight. Then I went to Cheers and all the windows were boarded up…..so then I came here
Lilith- Don’t you know?
Diane- Know What?
Sam- Sam is getting married.
Diane- What?
Lilith- Yes….Didn’t he tell you?
Diane- No I don’t believe so….
Lilith- He said all he wanted was a small ceremony….him and his fiancé Jackie are getting married tonight at St. Paul’s Church.
Diane- I have to go see him..
Lilith- On his wedding night? No I think you should stay here you may ruin his whole wedding.
Diane- But I have to see him……I need to see him tonight.
Lilith- Why? Can’t you see him tomorrow?
Diane- No because I L-L-L-ove Sam.
Lilith- What? You can’t be serious
Diane- I didn’t come for a visit I came to see Sam to tell him that I love him.
Lilith- Well you can’t see him tonight..
Diane- I have to….
Lilith- That wouldn’t be practical I’ve had experience with this, It doesn’t work out.
Diane- I have to see him
Lilith- Diane….W---
(Before she could finish Diane was out the door and on her way to the church)
Lilith- I never really liked her….that much…
(Fade Out)

Part 3
(Diane got back in her car and drove over to the church….)

Diane- *she runs in* STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Sam and his fiance turn around surprised)
Sam- Diane……Is something wrong?
Diane- I love you.
Sam- I don’t love you
Jean- He loves me
Minister- You may now kiss the bride Sam
(They Kiss)
Diane- NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAM!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Diane wakes up in her house)
Diane-*dials up the airport* Hello this is Diane Chambers I’m sorry to cancel at the last minute but I won’t be able to make Flight 6573 to Boston. Thank You. Bye *she hangs up the phone and goes back to sleep*

Thanks for replying...I didn't see that fanfic in ages...I just realized that I said Sam was getting married to two different women Jean and Jackie...
