At the top of the "Gimme a Break!" page of this site, there is a thread regarding the fact that it has been ten years since Nell Carter passed away. I am the most recent person to respond to this post. One thing that several other people posted responses about is the notion that a reunion of that show would not be a good idea. Because Nell Carter was clearly the star of the show, it would be too hard to maintain the audience's attention in her absence. One poster responded by offering the readers a list of shows in which a reunion would be a good idea and a list of shows that it would not. A bunch of the ones in which it would not work were shows in which most if not all of the performers who played the main character have died. I then responded by mentioning the idea of a "Mad About You" reunion. What do you guys think of this idea? It is my understanding that most, if not all of the people who played the main characters are still with us. The show has been off of the all for well over a decade. There are a lot of ideas that they could come up with regarding what happened to them in that time span. Anyone who is interested can head over to the "Gimme a Break!" page and read my ideas for things that they could deal with. Hope to see you there!
